Da Hoodest House

New Zealand!

Hi it’s Dania here! Just in NZ right now hangin out in a pretty Hood house in Wanaka! Def not da hoodest, but Sarah arrived a couple days ago, so it helps a little! It is beautiful here, and tons of skiing has been going on.

It is winter again, and there has been three days of competition in about 5 days… So, wild ride but they have been going really well! Two slope contests and one pipe. Three different mountains all offering a little somethin different… Snowpark is real fun, good rails and jumps, Remarkables was in Queenstown, where the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen took place, and my favorite resort so far, Cardrona, has a perfect pipe and really fun jumps.

Wanaka is a beautiful tiny town in NZ, surrounding a really nice calm lake, and amazing view of the mountains. Here are some pictures from sunrise, mountains views, and skiing! Enjoy and I will make sure to keep up with the blog and share more from down unda!

Exploring Oregon with Oregon

After we wrapped the shoot, Keri Herman and I went down to Wlches for a couple of days to hang out with our freinds Scotty Connerly and Justin Weigand. Scotty’s dog,  Oregon, is an extremely handsome husky who loves to go on walks.

We traveled the neighborhood and I have never seen so much moss in my life. It’s on everything. And everything is so green! And wet. Trees are growing out of trees. It’s some wizard stuff, for sure.

Who da hoodest?

What up ya’ll. We’re wrapping up da hoodest house here in Oregon.

We have been on hill morning, noon and night getting shots for the women’s issue. The boys at Windells have been sledding us up and down the big jump and the hip so we can lap as fast as possible. We also have been making noise up in govy with some house parties, BBQ and karaoke.

We got shots.

We got dance parties.

We got tats.

We got other hood rat stuff.

Last Day on da Snow

As the shoot wrapped up for us ladies, so did Windells ski lane. The sun was shining, and there were only a few clouds in site, a perfect day to end the summer season on… Angeli, Dania, Keri, and Kaya were hitting up the Red Bull rainbow tryin to GTS. Around 2:30pm, Sarah, Kristi, Kaya, and Keri put on a show for the campers, hitting the big jump until the wind picked up and they decided to save their bodies. After a beautiful day, the girls headed down satisfied and ready for a nap OR should I say dance party?

A few days back, we road up a cat to hit a few features at sunset. It was an incredible evening, and you could see all three mountains with a pink, blue and yellow sky to highlight them. We skied from 5 until 9, and looked out on this mountain thinkin” how lucky are we!”

Today we went to Portland to shop at the Nike Employee Store.  You need to be on a list t0 get in, no big.  Nicole wins the shoe buying contest with 6 pair!

The shoot is over, so now all there is to do is PARTY!

We had a down day today, so Kaya Bamba and I decided to go find some entertainment in Sandy.  Hula hoops and tats, cant get much hooder that that.
